Painting was my first artistic love, but eventually pottery replaced painting
as my favorite art form. Like many others, I was enthralled with Nan Roche's,
book "The New Clay". Discovering polymer clay allowed me to combine some of my
favorite qualities of painting and pottery; creating color, form and texture
on a smaller scale. I love experimenting with polymer clay and combining polymer
with other media and materials. I have been teaching art in the public schools
for twenty-one years and look forward to being a full-time artist after retirement.
