You choose the panel and glass to use, we supply the use of our tools, and miscellaneous things like solder, foil, flux, and finish patina. Depending on the size and complexity of the pattern you select, this class takes about four to five weeks to complete. The maximum size for the first project is limited to about a 1-1/2 square foot panel. There isn't a set start date for classes, if space is available, you can start any week. Glass Techniques

Having troubles cutting glass? Is your soldering not as nice as you would like? Pieces not fitting together as closely as you had hoped? Project done but needs that final finish to make it perfect?
If you already know the process of making a Stained Glass project but are having problems in one of the steps, we offer this class so you can get help! Get your project to the problem stage and then come in and let us help you brush up on your technique.

Mosaic Stepping Stones

Two 2 hour sessions, $45.00 for 12" Round stone; $28.00 for Brick size stone.
Mosaics are all the rage today! In this class you will learn how to create either a 12" round (large) or brick sized (small) mosaic stepping stone using pre-made stones and stained glass overlays. The cost of this class includes all materials to complete the project. No previous experience with Stained Glass needed.

Glass Fusing

Our new location allows us to run bigger and better kilns than we ever could before! We will soon be offering several new glass fusing classes. Learn to create fused works of art from glass that has been "melted" at 1500 degrees F. Kilns from affordable tabletop models that can be plugged into a standard household electrical outlet up to large 'production' size models will be used in these classes. Want to make your own fused projects but don't want to invest in a kiln? We will also offer fusing space in our kilns to fuse your project for you.

Fused Tile or Plate

If you've never worked with hot glass before, you will be able to take a tile or plate fusing class. Decorate a tile or plate with pre cut pieces of glass, frit, stringers, noodles, and more. We will fuse your creation for you to pick up in about a week. All supplies will be included in the class fee and you don't have to have any experience with glass working. This is also a great class for birthday parties or you and a group of friends to take since it's not as technique focused.

Glass Bracelet

Learn to make your own beautiful bracelet out of fused glass! We will offer both a beginner version where you decorate the bracelet however you like and we will take care of the fusing and shaping for you. A more advanced class will show you all of the steps from decorating to flat fusing to hot working the blank into the finished bracelet.

Glass Fusing 101

If you already know how to cut glass and want to learn all about glass fusing, this is the class for you! This will be a several week class that will teach all about setting up your kiln, fusing schedules, coefficient (compatibility) of glass, and other information to progress into doing your own fusing at home. If you would like to take this class but don't yet know how to cut glass, you can either take our Garden Charm class or we can do a Technique class for you.
